Beyond the STARS Scholarship Fund

The Colorado Springs STARS B-BALL Academy continues its commitment to serve Colorado Springs youth through the sport of basketball. Through the Beyond the STARS Scholarship Fund, we continue our commitment to the community and our youth. Although our organization's motto, "Building Better Athletes While Learning Life Skills" is couched in terms of competitive athletics, a much broader sense of our program is to enable youth to experience "success", raise self-esteem, develop the social and interactive skills necessary for success, and develop leaders of character. The Beyond the STARS Scholarship is funded through private, individual, and corporate donations. With your financial assistance, you will provide the opportunity for at-promise, low income student athletes the opportunity to participate in our Colorado Springs STARS Select Basketball Program and the Shooting STARS Basketball Enrichment Program.

Some of our outstanding student athletes have families who cannot cover the cost of the program, and the Colorado Springs STARS has always had a scholarship fund to help our at-promise, low income student athletes remain in the program. By funding our scholarship, you offer our youth a chance to build leadership, character, time-management and organization traits that will last a lifetime.
